So I was reading the update on this Zombie film (I have yet to read the book, is it good?) and it's still a work in progress and not dead as previously believed.

Anyways, if YOU had a major involvement of this project, how would you do it?

Read the book. NOW. As for me, I'd just shoot the movie like its told; different actors for the different interviews. Same actors for recurring interviews, etc.

Heh

I still need to read the book. I read all of the Zombie Survival Guide except a few of the stories at the end :)

It wouldn't be a movie, instead it would be a weekly, episodic, hour long, no commercialsTV series, going for about 14-16 episodes ought to cover most/all of it.

The book was VERY highly entertaining.

I would rather it be a min-series to be more like the book with all the interviews.

but i would like it to be like district 9, have an interview with a survivor, and have a flash back to those events

I'd like it the scences are shown while the narrator narrates in the background. This is my favvorite book, they better get it right.

It should just be a series of short stories. Forget the interviewer part. Just take the stories that the people tell and show those.

Yes! A Mini series on HBO would be great.

I think that each segment of the book should be introduced by seeing the interviewer and the interviewee to establish who they are. Eventually as their stories progress we flashback to what happened with the interviewee's voice narrating what is happening.

Definitely. They absolutely can't "Hollywood" this book up, it has to be a truthful adaptation.

Probably a fair amount UNlike WWZ if anything. Some of the crap that was going on in that book just had me shaking my head. Lot of it coming down to piss poor management.

Read the book, loved it, not sure if it should be made into a movie though. But if I had to do it, I would shoot the interviews and sorta have flashbacks to where the were and what they did, maybe even have them narrate a little in the flashbacks.

Yeah this is how I thought it would be done. I'm really looking forward to the movie. The book was awesome.
