Well, I'll use a school day as an example...I'll throw on my iPod on the trip there in the morning, be listening to it during each class, and the ride back, I'll get home and open iTunes and charge my iPod full, hang out in my room until supper, still listening...then how muchI listen to itafterwards depends what I'm doing that night. But if I'm awake roughly 16 hours a day, I'm usually listening to music for 11 or 12 of them.
It's really interesting to see that everyone here so far that has posted listens to music in a pre dominantly passive way.
I find that really interesting as I'm a music education student.
As for me I listen to music about 5-6hrs a day passively and 1hr actively(ie working out lyrics, work sheets, lyrics meanings, chord progressions etc.)
I listen to music everytime I get on the computer, I always open iTunes and listen to my music. Elviathan
Ya me too the first thing I do is open iTunes
I have music on all the time...I need background noise...Right now I have the new White Stripes album on...it keeps getting better and better the more I listen.
Whenever I'm on my comp, because that's where my 1gb of music is. Otherwise it's YouTube.
So quite often.
