How much GB's of data/files do you have?

I have around 1.3 TB of files and Im in need of a new harddrive :P, how about you?

Drive 1: 640 GB in two partitions. Partition 1 has 232 free of 304GB, Partition 2 has 118 free of 292

Drive 2: 187GB free of 931GB

Total: Around 1TB

About 3.5 TB of various stuff, including media files, old project backups, etcxaos

I have 384GB full and 1.655TB of total space.

Good god, do you people have your entire movie collections ripped to your hard drive or something?

I've barely broken 100GB.

Around ~2TB.

Mostly composed of x264 video, lossless music, and images.

I'm sitting around 2.5TB, and I definitey need more space. I'm thinking about building myself a NAS device, just for fun :Pcell_dweller

That would be the way to go since any harddrive over 2TB is far to expensive._rock_

About 2TB on my main computer and NAS. If I include my other two and secondary backup drive, it might be closer to 3TB of used space.

I have a 90 gigabyte hard drive. I had to delete something to make room for my last large download. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Just over 500 GB total.

Just under 130GB, mainly photos and music. If I was to back-up my TV-on-DVD collection I would need a new hard drive (currently got 500GB of space)

Quite the opposite, actually. Bigger drives generally have a higher platter density, which results in better performance.

~1TB of compressed movies, ~30GB of music and maybe 5GB of pictures

I feel old school with my 250 GB harddrive. :P

I wouldn't be surprised if there are 3 and 4 TB drives on the market when I go to buy a new one. In fact, I'll be surprised if there aren't.

People seem to make the size of their HD work for them. If you've only got 250 gigs, you're sure to delete what you don't need and keep the drive organized, so it seems like it's enough to do the job (though I'm kind of feeling it now since I download a lot of media). Conversely, if you've got a TB drive, you don't spend much time deleting unnecessary files, and it seems to add up quickly.

I used up about 171GB.

One of my laptop hard drives is 94.1GB. I have 17.8GB remaining. I've got 76.3GB of files. Not that much really. I still have a second hard drive for my laptop as well, which is an extra 46GB.

Also, my old hard drive broke and I got a new 1Tb one. Right now it has about 670 gigs free.
