In every movie I've seen, the actors are reciting poetry rather than saying what a normal person would say.
Why so unrealistic?

You need to stop watching Shakespeare films and start watching action flicks and comedies. megageneComedies, definitely Also, movies like LOTR have that kind of loquacity due to it's pure awesomeness

They talk in an idealistic way, because we all wish we could say the right things at the right time. Thats my take on it anyway.
I often find myself pointing out mistakes in how people emphasize words/what words they emphasize, both on T.V. and in real life.
There are quite a few other problems that I can think of with most people's acting, but that immediately jumped out at me because it's the one that I think irritates me the most.
