Yeah, I'm late with the results but it's better late then never right?

  1. Hobbs & Shaw - $25.4 Million
  2. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark - $20.8 Million (new release)
  3. The Lion King - $20.0 Million
  4. Dora and the Lost City of Gold - $17.0 Million (new release)
  5. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - $11.6 Million
  6. The Art of Racing in the Rain - $8.1 Million (new release)
  7. The Kitchen - $5.5 Million (new release)
  8. Spider-Man: Far From Home - $5.3 Million
  9. Toy Story 4 - $4.4 Million
  10. The Farewell - $2.2 Million (new release)

Lots of new releases and yet, Hobbs & Shaw still manage to stay up top and I think what surprises me is that, I had no idea Dora and the Lost City of Gold release already and I thought that movie would have done at least 30m opening weekend for a children's show. Nothing to see this past weekend and now, only waiting for IT part 2. This was really a slow weekend but that's to be expected during August anyways.

August 9-11 mojo's box office weekend

The rock always makes entertaining appearances I think?

I actually liked fast and furious 8 more than I thought I would so I think I’m gonna go see Hobbs & Shaw too!

However, I am surprised that Once Upon a Time In Hollywood didn’t made more money than it did.

100mill domestic is not good but it´s not that bad either and once it hits worldwide, it´s pure profit.

But I think Tarantino has overshot the normal good quality he makes, a bit with this movie, from the Trailers it´s not one that I am dying to see, like the rest he has made.

And Fast & Furious 9 is great but also just a 100mill domestic is not a lot.

Too bad Dora wasn't bigger.

Dora should have remained a loli for the entire movie. It was weird seeing her in this form. It was okayish but those numbers are very low.
