Hmm. Whats the big deal with Gamefaqs?

I'm assuming all of you are gamespoters; so the answers might be a bit biased, but the bulk of users seem to prefer gamefaqs over gamespot.

Why? Gamespot looks better, easier to find games, you can have avatars, you can post pictures and smiles appear as smiles.

On average, 6000-7000 users are browsing Gamefaqs during the times of 12 PM and 12 AM (currently 2350)

Compare that to 1000-2000 for Gamespot during the same times :\(currently 1397)

TC: Being able to post images, have avatars, etc does not make a better site, it just makes for loads of glitches.

I was a member of GameFAQs for years. Then came the merger and I discovered Gamespot. Ever since I joined Gamespot, I haven't gone back to GameFAQs.

Their forum is very bland and boring. Only 2 colors, blue and white. And the text is all black. No avatars, no signature images, no images, period!

Also, everyone on GameFAQs thinks that they're a moderator and that it's their job to mark as many messages as possible. Nobody cares about getting along over there, they just like to argue, flame, and troll.

I always found GameFAQs to be rather unfriendly, plus they seem really obsessed with karma points and the general noobiness of people. O.oSolidSnake35

They are unfriendly to the majority of GameSpot users, or it has seemed that way in the past. I am sure it's just like GS though, there are nice users and then not so nice users :(
