Ok today i went out and bought a samsung flashcam it was on sale being black friday and all so i download all the stuff for it and its video editing tool sucks! big time no effects or anything can someone tell me what a good tool is and where i can download one for free??

Windows Movie maker comes with windows or you can download it... But Sony Vegas is pretty good.

There is a lot of freeware video editing programs, although I don't know of many for Mac OS X or Linux. I'll list some paid software as well, that you might want to try or buy.

Windows Movie Maker (pre-installed on most versions of Windows, XP and above)

I didn't list that much software I know, but it should be enough to get you started on producing and editing your videos and clips. VideoSpin is the most basic, so if you're just looking for some titles and transitions, it should be sufficient. I hope this list is of help to you.
