I have a turtle, and his skill is......nothing

My cat knows when i'm feeling sad and actually starts to play with me.
I'm fairly convinced my cat knows when i'm sad, everytime i am or i'm depressed, she's comes to me and starts rub her head on my hand or cheek and try playing with me.
don't think it's a special skill, just find it very cool. :)
My dog is a hermit who loves to stay in his doggy house and he's probably a racist too, so sadly my dog isn't too sociable.
Also, I'm not a racist so I have NO idea where he gets it from.

So sweet.. I hope my turtle could play with me. He is too silent :D
I think a lot of animals, or at least pets, are like that. It's really quite neat if you ask me, my dog always tries to play with me extra when I'm feeling down :). I think they can also sense when things are wrong, or when something is out of place. My cat knows when i'm feeling sad and actually starts to play with me.

Oh, and I got this parakeet that can't squawk but he still manages to attract every female that comes near him.
edit: sorry for the double post GS doesn't allow me to edit my posts
my dog can open doors, the only trick left is to teach him how to close them, but he's as dumb as a brick. my other dog can also be in the wrong place at the wrong time every time. example: laying out on the kitchen floor minutes before i have to move heavy furniture, laying out between my chair and the wall every time i have to get up from the dinner table, and she's also mostly deaf...
My dog is pretty good boy.
He doesn't bark too much, he can give me a high five when he wants a treat, he doesn't pull on the leash, and he's good around the baby.
I'm kind of scared to come home and find him being ridden by my son.
My dog is awesome an he gives high fives on command.Wilfred_Owen

Mine can not only roll over and give high fives, but he can stand on his hind legs and do it too. Beat that!

I guess it really knows how to perform for those promotion boards, huh? :P
i use my female doberman in my work as a trainer and with rescue strays.
she always does an amazing job defusing frightened or vicious dogs and giving me an "in" to start building trust.
she cracks me up, there was an unsocialized schnauzer that was going all crazy and working himself up into attack mode and she put her paw in the middle of his back and smushed him to the ground and he instantly calmed down. i'm standing there looking at her and she has this dog pinned and she just looks up at me and grins like a doofus.
i've never seen anything like that from a dog since normally dogs go in teeth first to teach another dog a lesson.
i swear fate put her with me to teach me a lesson about thinking i know everything there is to know and to keep me humble.
My dog warns me of any nearby cats and squirrels. I don't know what I would do with out him.

Good thing. Those squirrels are vicious! :P
My dog is too smart. He'll pretty much do anything I tell him to. He's funny too. We took him to the shelter to find him a friend and when we introduced him to this small poodle he wouldn't stop trying to hump her. Hilarious. Especially cause he's a little dog.
My Belgian Sheepherd....... herds people. If we have guests over, he likes to try and keep everyone on one side of the room. Also, he knows how to differentiate between different species of birds. For example, he knows to chase the pigeons out of the yard, yet he leaves the cardinals, blue jays, starlings, etc alone.
My cat can eat with his hands (although a lot of Maine Coons can do that).

Kinda strange, the people next door get bothered by some pigeons, as if they are affecting quality of life, yet they don't mind having like a dozen or so people crammed in there living in a one family house.
