Yes, a couple. I run a non-profit organization that develops educational games. Won about 5 NGO grants in my state, valued at around $120k. It helped kickstart the operations about a year ago. Now, I'm hopefully launching our first proyect we've been working on sometime in the summer.

I never win a prize before and I'm always a loser :(

I took home the 1st place trophy for longest hit in my age category at my little league hit-a-thon when I was a kid.

I've won my fantasy football league about 4 times.

That is all. I'm pretty pathetic.

Many cub scouts get pounded, but I think they are doing a better job on the background checks these days.

It's like that time I got a free dog for buying an xmas tree once. Welcome to spending X amount of money and time each month. But hey I got $20 off the tree.

I won a local Unreal Tournament tournament back in my college days. Got a Radio/CD player from it. That was neat.

I won a gift card at a music store for 50 bucks when I was kid I had to guess how many gumballs where in a container I believe I said 2000 and I was right or close enough to the number. So I used that gift card to get a electric guitar to at least pay for half of it I think this was along time ago in the early 90's.

Outside of sports awards, no, I have not really won anything.

I think it was 1998 around Xmas I won the grand prize from a snickers bar. It ended up being a home entertainment center, Sony 47 inch projection tv (which we had until about 6 years ago), Sony VHS player, Sony surround sound system (which still works and is in my garage), a black leather lazy boy chair, a mini satellite dish and a year of free programs, a years supply of snickers bars (a box of almost 500 bars) and $500.

All damn day.

Damn that's a pretty sweet prize package.

Also.... A year's supply of Snicker's is 2 bars a day :) Wow

Three awards at work and a scholarship for a Master degree. The scholarship money went towards a PS2, Tekken Tag Tournament and Timesplitters.

@pyro1245: I gave a lot away to college friends, kept maybe 100 for myself. I did finish them (froze them so they'd last longer) and after that I was so sick of snickers I didn't eat another one for probably 15 years.

I've won some pretty boring things, like being Employee of the Month/Quarter/Year a few times. I've also been recognized at annual conferences for sales and operational performance management.

As far as prizes, all I can think of was a call in thing in the '90s for Kids WB where I won a special edition bag of Cheetos that were flavored with Doritos Nacho Cheese dust.

Well, I did also win a container of pizza scented Gak from Nickelodeon. I think it was some send in thing from the magazine with a chance to win. That stuff smelled terrible. Nothing like pizza.

Won a few times on scratchies,$30,$50 a few times,but overall pretty unlucky.

Won a $1000 scholarship for a music competition at school. I played Scriabin's Etude Op. 8 no. 12, and Chopin's Etude Op. 25 no. 1

Won at least three Cosplay Competitions one of them was £250, SNES Mini console and the other was a bag of gaming goodies.

My luck stops working when its comes to win anything.

@vfighter: £250 was cosplaying as Abe (Oddworld) back in 2014, the gaming goodies was for cosplaying as Toan (Dark Cloud) back in 2018 and the SNES mini console I won by fault due to not many people cosplaying on the same weekend as Avengers End Game on Cinema release last year I only cosplayed as Nathan Drake from Uncharted for that one. All three of those events I've mentioned were for Retro Gaming events

Won the grand prize in a contest on 1up.com due to the first prize person not getting back to them on time. It really surprised as I entered the contest and won a 42 inch Plasma Insignia HD TV and a 40GB PS3 in 2007. Won a $150 EB Games giftcard from Gamesradar a few years later when I won the PS3. Besides those two things I never won anything else.

Just won $750 on a crossword scratchie like 5 minutes ago. Needed a place to say it lol.
