but then rewatched it again later on and realize that movie is actually pretty bad and you dont like it at all.

I recently rewatched Pennies from Heaven and I realized that the movie is kinda shit. I first saw it for a class project more than a year ago. The professor told me to pick a movie from a handfull he gave me cuz the one I had wasnt appropriate for the project, so I picked Pennies From Heaven starring a younger Steve Martin.

Its a half musical. I hate musical but this movie I wouldnt really say its a straight up musical. But when I first saw I really liked it and labeled it as the only musical that I like.

But now Im wondering what the **** was wrong with me for liking that movie.

Terminator 2. Loved it when it came out but after some years passed I found it to be just a big budget B movie with a hokey plot. James Cameron hasn't made a decent movie since The Abyss despite what the box office returns say.

Step Brothers did that in a big way, and it was weird because it was only a couple months in between viewings. I swear I must have been just the right amount of drunk to like it the first time.

Beyond that there have been plenty of kids movies that did this to me. We're Back (I was big into dinosaurs), The Power Ranger Movie (most power rangers stuff really), Fern Gully kinda sucks, etc.

@kend0_kap0ni: Independance Day. Saw it with my girlfriend at the time & the next day my friends wanted to see it and went again and was criticizing the entire movie pissing everyone off.

This sounds like a problem with an obvious solution.

Cheers!

I actually find the opposite to be more common. I'll watch a movie and dislike it, but then I'll rewatch it and find it wasn't as bad as I originally though.

Sure, sometimes that happens.

But its much easier to like something you didnt like, than to not like something you really liked.
