Which do you prefer to go to the girlie places where they have loads of shampoo to buy and what not or the place where all the Barbers are men and they havce many a manly thing on the wall such as antlers or sports pictures.

I like going to the girly places myself because they pamper you. Though it took me a while to walk into one

Since I get my haircuts for free at the salons, I go with salons.

I go to wherever's cheaper. I've been going to a place run by a bunch of Vietnamese people for years because haircuts there are 5 bucks apiece.

I have no interest in cutting my hair, besides my mom worked in Hair Salons and is quite experienced in her job.

My mum used to be a hairdresser so I've only recently started going to get my hair cut in a proper place. I have the same hairdresser as my mum. I get my hair washed for me, layered and sometimes coloured. The cut & colour costs 45 quid. If my mum didn't pay for it I definately wouldn't bother :P It's way too expensive. I feel awkward having someone else wash my hair :?

I go to one of those salons...there aren't any barbershops that close to me so I'd have to drive 20-30 minutes to get to one (when I can drive 2 minutes to get to a salon).

yeah that is why it took me so long to go to a hair salon. I couldnt wrap my head around that bit for the longest time but one day my bareshoip was closed and the salon was open.
