It's not even out yet and I already know like a third of the runtime is gonna be wasted on a romantic arc. lol

Looks good. About time we get a good video game movie; I guess it helps it isn't based on an actual video game.

Doesn't mean it can't be entertaining. Lego movie had a "romantic arc" that was pretty hilarious.

But nah I get what you're saying, romance stories in movies just seem sort of tacked on and target a very specific demographic but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy it if it's done well.

I was kind of surprised by how unfunny it was. It definitely has its moments but overall, I wasn't really amused by the film. Attempts were made but were mostly unsuccessful. Sorry but the film was meh at best. Better off waiting for it to come on TV.

You guys should watch a movie called Boss Level if you want a cool action movie about video games.
