I've been trying to get my hair to go straight back but it won't...I'm trying to go maybe for a Leonardo Di Caprio or Marc Antony look but with the type of hair I have It just won't go back! all it does is spikes up and stands on end..does anyone know how I can train it to go back?

Your hair needs to be at the proper length. It needs to be a little longer. Try to use a pomade instead of gel. It's hard to get it to slick back if you have thick hair. People with thick hair who want to slick it back usually will need to get it thinned at a salon. It's expensive compared to a joe blow haircut at super cuts.

You're not gonna get that effect with gel. You're best bet would be hair spray. Hold your hair down, spray the hair spray, and either let it air dry or use a hair dryer.

Same for me. Nothing you can really do . Maybe try wearing a cap over it? So it flattens it.

You need the good stuff. I use Ice Spiker Water-Resistant Styling Glue. It's only available in salons and costs about $20 a tube, but you can do anything with your hair in terms of styling when you use that stuff, and I mean ANYTHING.

Try gelling it when your hair is dry. You won't have the water weight weighing it down.. so it's easier to spike your hair when it's dry.

Trust me I've tried almost everything...now I just mess it up on purpose to have the "I don't care how my hair looks/morning hair" look
