Hey guys,

I've been thinking it would be great if there was a platform where gamers can earn a bit of money by sharing gaming tips and tricks etc. So I've spent some time building a site that does just that.

What do you think about this idea?

( p.s. I' not trying to promote so I'm not posting a link to it.;) )

There is too much monetization in gaming as it is, we don't need to voluntarily expose ourselves to it.

People should do it for free. Sort of like they already do on countless other sites. Or in games.

I can literally go log in to a server in DCS World and have someone teach me how to fly an airplane. For free. People in Diablo, Borderlands, Grim Dawn, and so forth are more than happy to take you by the hand and help level your character, give you some loot, and so on.

I already do stuff like this for free.

No need for monetary incentive.

Ok then, maybe it was not the brilliant idea I thought it was.:p

I did add the option of for-free lessons, though. Qryft is a non-profit project after all.

@levelup: It's a good idea, just maybe not so much as a business. Though you could get some good ad revenue if it is popular enough.

TBH I think a website/app that helps people find others to play with would be kind of cool. You could enter the game/s you're interested in playing with people, your availability (hours/days of the week), and whether or not you need to be taught or you can be a teacher or are just looking to play.

There are tons of video game sites and you tube videos about this sort of thing. It is a interesting idea though.

There's already ton of that on youtube for free.

You could perhaps create a community that goes with that niche and have subforums of popular games.
