From which end do you peel a banana?

This is something I have never even thought about, but a co-worker peeled a banana from the bottom...I've always peeled from the top.

Which end do you peel from?

I peel from the top. Monkeys peel from the bottom. I'd like to think that makes us the more civilized species.

Normally from the top but sometimes you get those ones that the stem just bends and mashes the top of the banana, then i just tear it open from the centre.

I bite it in the abdomen and peel in opposite directions away from the center of my face. Weird? Maybe. Efficient? Not Really. Pointless? Most Definitely.FragStains

I open at the top, I tried the bottom for a while. The bad thing about the bottom is that you get this tiny black slimy thing which sticks to the bananadough. So I switched back to top.

I open bananas from the Top. I tried the Bottom, didn't work too well. I also tried cutting off the bottom, I just found opening it from the top was easier. :P

From the bottom now. Saw a monkey open it that way and realized it was much easier.

Maaaaaaan, I thought we were supposed to be smarter than monkeys. Evolution is a fluke. We can't even figure out how to open bananas right. :x

I am impressed. Like so many, I never even considered another way to peeling bananas.

Never peel, just eat it skin and all.

Upon further research, I see that is apparently one of two things that separate us from the rest of the animal kingdom.
