Poll For those who listen to Linkin Park, I have a question? (17 votes)

Chester Bennington 41%
Mike Shinoda 6%
Both vocalist are great for what they bring to the table 53%

The question is, who's the better vocalist in Linkin Park? Chester Bennington or Mike Shinoda?

Linkin Park made their name in part by having two very distinct vocalists in a tag-team, the late Chester Bennington doing the singing, screaming, and choruses. And while Mike Shinoda does many of LP's iconic rap verses and bridges. (and later, also singing on some songs) Chester was a pretty good vocalist IMO.

I think Mike has always been the band's most talented member. Especially on the Meteora album, Mike spits some great verses (my favourite is 'Hit the floor').

Hard one. Both fit the music so well. The yelling when it's more powerful instrument wise. And the rapping when it's more melodic.

Both are great but I accidentally clicked on Chester and missed the last option.

Love this live performance of Papercut it's one my favorites great mix between Mike and Chester.

I honestly can't say one is better than the other. Their styles are so different. I don't think Linkin Park would've been as of a successful band if not for both of them!

Chester by a long shot. I could listen to LP if it was only Chester as a singer, I wouldn't listen to LP if it was only Mike.

Their styles are too different to be compared. However, Chester was given lead vocalist duties for most songs, so naturally, he'll always be known as the face of the band regardless of how his talent compared to Mike.

I respect both their talents and find they both bring a lot to the music, I don’t think one overshadows the other.
