Los Campesinos! - We are Beautiful, We are Doomed (2008 )

St. Vincent - Marry Me (2007)

Morrissey - You are the Quarry (2004)

Thurston Moore - Trees Outside the Academy (2007)

The Dresden Dolls - The Dresden Dolls (2003)

Tough choices, I must say. I wanted to put in Stars' Set Yourself on Fire and Crystal Castles' eponymous debut, but I feel like the albums I listed are stronger, overall. No duds, just great songs all the way through. I haven't listed them in any particular order, mind you.

I've been meaning to get this, it's been highly recommended by one of my friends. I liked Paddling Ghost, is the rest of the album in the same vein?

I can never have a stable top list of anything, so chances are this list will change in some time.

As of now, though, my top 5 of the decade are:
1. Arcade Fire - Funeral
2. Radiohead - In Rainbows
3. The Killers - Hot Fuss
4. Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
5. Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare
