First Pixar movie to hit "rotten" on RT

Cars 2 is at 59% at the moment. Personally, I don't care. Cars was one of my favorite Pixar movies, and this one looks awesome from the previews I saw.

I was disappointed when I heard Pixar was doing sequels. We need more like UP!!!!! Also Cars is the only Pixar I haven't seen and I don't plan on seeing the second.

Not surprising. Cars was always Pixar's weakest work.

Never liked Cars but loved all the other movies.

I never wanted to watch cars, but after seeing it, I thought it was amazing.

It's the only Pixar movie I haven't seen either (Cars) because it didn't look good.

I'm sure I'll still enjoy the film, but it will probably end up being one of the weaker (if not the weakest) of the Pixar works.

I thought it was a good movie. Larry the Cable Guy was hilarious a Tow-Mater. I even thought it had a good message and I hate movies that have messages (I liked Wall-E's message too).

The Cars franchise looks like something Dreamworks came up with. Owen Wilson voicing the lead, Larry the Cable Guy as support lead, and it's marketed to all hell. It's completely out of character for Pixar.

Loved the 1st movie, my Godchilren loved it, so much fun. I've seen the trailers for the 2nd one and I'll wait for comment. Honestly any ratings before it comes out I take with a grain of salt.

Nice. I though the first Cars was terrible too. I don't know why they wasted time on this sequal. They should have worked on Bugs Life 2 instead.

It does not surprise me one bit because they chose t make Cars 2. Cars is easily the worst movies Pixar have made. In my opinion of course.

I'm guessing it's going to focus on Mater and the spy stuff, it doesn't seem to have the same charm

I just saw Cars again the other night and it really isn't that bad a movie. It's just the main character is an ass at first. And I don't THINK Pixar has ever made a movie where the main character is like that and that, in turn, turned people off. mrmusicman247

Not really surprising. Pixar should learn to stick to new and creative movies everytime rather than resorting to sequels.

I saw the first Cars in my first year of high school, now I'm in my last and I can't wait to seethe second. I'm also dragging my 5 year old cousin with me so I don't look silly.

If it tops the box office on it's opening weekend, which it will. They're not gonna care what it gets on rotten tomatoes.

Good. I'll never understand why Pixar felt the need to make a sequel to cars.

I'm really tired of Pixar movies. I enjoyed Up and most of the classics, but it seems like only 1 out of every 5 is good these days.
