My favourite actor is Elijah Wood. His performances are both delicate and thought-provoking. He has a gentle charisma that gives him sufficient stage presence to hold his own against legendary heavyweights such as Sir Ian McKellen and Sean Bean. He also has very expressive eyes that he uses to great effect.

I also admire Susan Sarandon. She is an intelligent actress who successfully conveys the strength and convictions of her characters.
