Apricot and cream cheese pastry. Used to get those at the local bakery, but now I don't live nearby anymore.
Jelly donuts are good too. You?

Like a pork pie, but they seem to be extreamly expensive now.
2 mini ones cost £2.
It took me 6 tries, just to get a picture of a pork pie.
Because all images now are webp. Thank you for that.
Sausage roll, steak & cheese pie. Add a bit of ketchup, yum.
Also, good old croissant. Simple and versatile.
Biscuits, love me some biscuits. Usually with egg cheese and country ham. salty. Also like a good ole fashion butter grape jelly biscuit.
There's a place near me called The Fancy Biscuit. They got some more adventures biscuits, goat cheese and jams, kielbasa , they be getting crazy with it.
@sargentd: Best place that I had biscuits was the Biscuit Kitchen, Spring Lake NC, outside Fort Bragg. Delicious. Read they are no more now though. 🙁
Going to have to go with a croissant. Good croissants are hard to defeat, and even mediocre ones are still pretty good.
They make amazing breakfast sandwiches, too, if you reheat them in the toaster oven.
Plus they're pretty versatile, as you can stuff them with all kinds of things, from savory to sweet. Ham and gruyere croissant? Yum! Almond croissant? Oh yeah.

Tough to beat a good biscuit. I like them just plain with some salted butter, but the best feature is you can put just about anything on them. Sweet or savory.
They're really like American croissants in that regard; great as simple as they come, but also great as an accessory to the meal.
The problem however is a good biscuit is pretty rare. You really need to put some effort into them and have a system down otherwise they just come off as flavorless, doughy little balls of flour. Your standard diner biscuit is terrible.

Ooooh that menu!
I love cinnamon rolls. I could eat them every day and not get tired of them.
A very delicious and guilty pleasure of mine as well! Those airport Cinnabons have made quite a pretty penny from me.
Great pastry is all equally good to me, for example danishes, croissants. But I would like to give a shout-out to long-johns.
@sargentd: Biscuits goes really well with breakfast meat, egg, & cheese. I also love biscuits with honey.
I like stuff like biscuits, donuts, croissants, etc.

Surprised you didn't say donuts!😮
@girlusocrazy: Sure, it counts.
Is pretzel a bread or pastry?A pretzel is a type of baked pastry made from dough that is commonly shaped into a knot. The traditional pretzel shape is a distinctive symmetrical form, with the ends of a long strip of dough intertwined and then twisted back onto itself in a particular way (a pretzel loop).Mar 23, 2020

A special kind of pretzel? Cheese sauce, maybe?

Yeah, back in the day when malls were still a thing there was a Cinnabon in the one near me, and oh man it was a nice treat every few months.
Croissants are so versatile. You can put an egg on them, or butter, or cheese for savory stuff, or just as easily put honey and cinnamon or chocolate, or jam for a sweet treat.
