So yeah favorite alcohol has kinda been done to death, but you know what everybody loves talking about their favorite alcohol so lets do it again.

Personally my favorite is bourbon whiskey. The brand I currently drink on a regular basis is called Very Old Barton and it's a great bourbon for the price, but make sure to get the 86 proof or higher as the 80 proof, while good, isn't quite in the same league.

My favorite of all time that I've had (aside from the sip of the 30 year old that one time) is either WL Wellers or the Four Roses Small Batch.

Macallan 50 year when I get to drink it every 5 years.

Reasonably it's a Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or 15 year Scotch. It's like drinking candy.

For blended, Johnny Walker Blue of course.

@Serraph105 Try some of the Nectar. You won't give a shit about bourbon anymore.

Guinness and Sailor Jerry's Rum.

Sailor isn't the same since they changed the recipe, I find myself adding a dash of vanilla to bring it back.

Barton Brand Liquor is distilled and bottled in my Hometown. Being from Kentucky, Bourbon is our speciality.

Drink up!! Support my local businesses and economy!!!

To answer the question, I'm not a big liquor guy. Dig Vodka and Rum a touch but I typically stick to beer.

My favorite beer label is Shiner made in Texas.

But Coors Banquets are what I usually end up getting for the weekends.

Almost any bourbon you can name comes from Kentucky as they make around 97-98% of all the world's bourbon. Hell there's more bourbon barrels in the state than people.

Malibu, mixed with Coca Cola Light.
No, not regular coke, it has to be light or zero.
Because Malibu has enough sugar, I don't need the extra.

And if you want to make me really happy? Add a piece of pineapple and a cute paper parassol.

Currently: Vodka, Stolichnaya (shots). It's quick and easy. Chase it with whatever.

I also dink a lot of Bell's Two Hearted Ale.

...and PBR for 'cruise control'

(I'll drink whatever though I don't really care, nothing too sweet)

My wife likes wine, so we've been all around the area going to Wineries.

Barton Brands had a huge expansion about three years ago, right after the Bourbon boom the country is currently enjoying.

I've been through their facilities a few times in an open houses they do every once in a while.

One of my summer jobs as a kid was helping an Air Condition company and we serviced one of their fridges once. But that was 17-18 years ago.

A stout. I don't really have a brand. I like variety, but the best one I've ever had was a coffee stout from a microbrewery in the back of a bowling alley that doesn't repeat recipes.

It makes me sad to think that I'll never have that beer again.

Whisky

Bourbon, Canadian, Scotch, Irish... doesn't matter. If it tastes like wood, it's good!

My two favourites are Maker's Mark Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Glenfiddich 15 Year-Old Single Malt.

My favorite type, as in the one I find most pleasurable to drink, would be hard cider. Favorites is probably a tie before the Golden Honey Strongbow, and the cinnamon Angry Orchard. Both are excellent and scary smooth. Although if they sold the Elderflower flavor in six packs, I'd be dead.

@turtlethetaffer: Hard cider is a wonderful drink. I've always loved woodchucks, but strongbow and Angry Orchard are excellent as well. I've never had golden honey, I'll have to give it a try.

@Serraph105: Absolutely do it. I usually don't drink it when I'm looking to get really drunk... I think that's a waste. Usually I just resort to some shitty liquor or another in that case, but when I just want a few social drinks, cider is where it's at.

Too rich for my wallet. Lol.

There is a 14 year-old Oak Cask I've been dying to try. Apparently it's the 15 but sweeter. But it's like $70 for a 750ml bottle.

70 isn't too bad! Live a little. I drink a glass of Macallan 50 year every once in a blue moon with the woman's family(they have deeper pockets than I, look up how much a bottle of the 50 costs).

Yeah, you're drinking higher class booze than us by a long shot. I imagine 50 year anything is in the upper hundreds if not low thousands. I can't find an exact price on it, hell I can't even find a proper tasting video of it on youtube.

I like to drink Scotch, although I don't really have a favorite brand. As long as it's strong and robust, I'm okay with it. I guess I'm partial to Lagavulin and do enjoy Macallan and Dalmore.

I'm starting to like beer as well. Sam Adams is always great and I do love Innus and Gunn. I am a sucker for Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade though. Then again, I'm a sucker for anything sweet.

$39,564.60 per litre.

At least his wife's family understand that it's for enjoying (I hope) and not just buying and mixing like most liquors at that price level end up in the hands of well... stupid people.

Get the Glemorangie 12 year Nectar D'or Scotch. You can find it for around 60 bucks usually. (even though it's priced around 90 online). It'll change your life ;D

Vodka, absolut, grey goose, smirnoff

rum-any decent spiced rum, including bacardi

I also make home grown absinthe that is far better than retail stock.

Beer. Lagunitas Brewing Co. is my "brand", I like all their beer but in particular Brown Shugga

As for hard alcohol, I like my booze clear and clean, and mixed in with something fruity (usually citrus). I love my Moscow Mules, Gin n Tonics with lots of lime, and Rum and Cokes. I'd be perfectly happy drinking "Kettel One mixed with ______" for the rest of my life. People say use cheap shit when mixing but I like to use mid-grade stuff because it does matter, especially in the hangover department.

I've tried all manner of barrel aged spirits, many of them of really high quality, and I just can't do it. I consider it a failing of mine because I know they're good, but whatever.

Ha ! Joking man. I drink anything that isn't cheapo. The cheap stuff will give you a hangover. I drink all kinds of good stuff. Just not every day. On occasions, and with good company. Just yesterday i had a mojito at lunch with my boss. Delicious stuff. Got that at this restaurant called Palomino, italian joint.

I'm a JD guy.

Jack Daniels...mmmm....jack and coke is so good.

Sadly, I stopped drinking pop a year ago so I haven't had a jack and coke in a year or so. Jack on the rocks is good for drinking as well. Since I stopped drinking pop my alcohol consumption dropped by 95% and I rarely drink now.

A dark beer is good, but it's not the same as my jack and coke.
