Uli Jon Roth.

I like the songs he composed while with the Scorpions and also he is a very skilled and underappreciated guitarist.

Billy Corgan's and Joes $yle are actually not that different from eachother, but Billy's 90's work >>>>>>>>>Any guitarist at that time. Joe Perry's eariler Aerosmith work would be more debatable. :P

Debatable as in good? His best work was probably late 70's, before he left the band, and in the late 80s, early 90s.

I guess it all depends on who you talk too. Some of their later work is my favorite, but I like the older stuff too.

Stevie Ray Vaughan. Klaus Eichstadt and Dave Fortman are high up there. They are the duo from Ugly Kid Joe, and never get any recognition.
