A lot of great actors have already been mentioned. At the time being, I've been really impressed with Matt Damon's ability to play a wide range of rolls, supporting, or main. While he can command the screen in a movie like the Bourne Identity or The Talented Mr. Ripley, he also fits in well as a supporting, sly, quiet character like he is in Ocean's Eleven. Whatever the roll he plays, he plays it convincingly. That said, Ed Norton also has this talent to play the bad guy or the good guy with equal believability. Tom Hanks has been great in the past, as has Robert De Niro, but neither have found a great deal of rolls suitable to their amount of talent in recent years.
