Facebook/Twitter in Games

What do you guys think about facebook/twitter integration in games (like game status updates)? Do you guys think they're useful or fun, or do you think they're useless and annoying? Do you enjoy them more for hardcore games (Uncharted 2, for example) or casual games (like Doodle Jump for the Iphone). Any thoughts?

(I'm collecting information for a university project, so any responses will be very much appreciated. Also, if anyone is interested in a quick one-on-one message "interview" on this subject, that would help me tremendously. Thank you!)

I don't want Facebook to have anything to do with my games.

Though what kind of integration do you mean? Do you mean you can get updates on Facebook on what your friends are doing in game (high scores, games being played, ect.) Or do you mean actually in game?

Seeing "Sally is going to the grocery store!" on Facebook is annoying enough.

"lazerpewpew16 just got a double kill!" would be infuriating.
