Evil Twin

This is a leaked track from his upcoming album, MMLP2. I think this is the closest to classic Shady he's come yet. This album is going to be THE rap album of 2013. Your thoughts?

-- Just a side note, the whole album is leaked now and having listened... This kills his last three albums. Shady really is back.

Can't believe he did a follow up to Stan. I'm sure people will hate on "new Eminem" but whatever, it's a great rap album and his best in over a decade.

I concur. I've loved all his albums (even Encore, which gets a terrible rap), but this is easily his best since The Eminem Show.

Yeah i realised it leaked yesterday. I'm surprised it only leaked a few days before release for someone as big as Eminem.

Easily my favourite artist. Best rapper alive by a mile.

My faves so far

1. Rap God(Do i really have to explain why:-P)

2. Love Game

3. Survival

4.Bezerk

5. Evil Twin.

I have listened to 8 tracks only but any rap fan knows you have to listen to it multiple times. #GuessWhosBackAgainB-)

The whole album is actually awesome. When he released Survival and The Monster I was afraid it would be like Recovery but this album really rocks! Can't stop listening!

Yeah this album is amazing. I actually got choked up and moved when I listened to Headlights. Such a beautiful and sad song.

The Eminem Show was a great album but for the past 10 or so years, Eminem has been playing catch-up. Encore, Relapse and Recovery were all good, but deeply flawed albums, so I went into MMLP2 with very low expectations.

After listening through it a few times, I conclude that MMLP2 is, in fact, one of his greatest albums. I loved it.

1. MMLP 1

2. Recovery

3. Eminem Show

4. Encore

5. The Slim Shady LP

Not sure where i put this latest one but it looks like it could surpass Recovery which was absolutely fantastic.

MMLP 1 will always be number 1

Just finished listening to the album. It deserves to be put up there with SSLP and MMLP.

@Netret0120: My list would go like this -

1. MMLP1

2. The Eminem Show

3. The Slim Shady LP

4. Recovery

5. Encore

I'm not sure where to put MMLP2 neither. Its getting better with each listen though :D. And it is better than The Slim Shady LP and Recovery for sure so thats good.

After multiple playthroughs this is easily the 2nd best album behind MMLP1

The wordplay and spitting is just great.

Eminem has done it again. I shall buy the album when it comes out on Tuesday as this deserves to go Emerald(If you listend to Rhyme or Reason, you would get that);-)

I don't understand all the praise for this album in this thread. I thought it was terrible.

I respect your opinion, but certainly you can't think it's worse than the last 3 albums he did? This album is on par technically and lyrically with any of his classics.

The only album that i can say was utter garbage was "Relapse".

Thankfully he admitted that on "Not Afraid"

Recovery was a great album. I don't know why some people rate it so low

What's funny is I think Relapse was actually one of his best albums, but severely hindered by his annoying experimentation with accents. Plus he almost went overboard with the shock lyrics on that album. To the point where it seemed like he was trying way to hard to be offensive.

This is exactly my problem with relapse also.

My list would be:

1.MMLP

2:Eminem Show

3.MMLP2

4.SSLP

5. Recovery

6. Encore

7. Relapse

Agreed. The MMLP2 was so innovative and creative. Some incredible collaborations, and Love Game with Kendrick is one of my favorite on the album. Rap God and So Far... are by far my favorites on the new album. But I agree Eminem was struggling for a while there, there is no doubt that his old stuff kills everything he has come out with recently, but this is a great album.

I am amazed to say that this album is up there with MMLP1 and Eminem Show in terms of greatness. Seriously great album! Only song I don't like is Stronger Than I Was. That song just sucks...

I don't know.

"Bad Guy" was a promising start but after that it was just bleeeeh
-Rhyme or Reason has him rapping in a f*cking Yoda voice
-Another obligatory Rihanna track; I know these do well on the charts, but I don't think Em and Rihanna mesh well at all.
-Stronger Than I Was is AWFUL. Honestly, that might be my least favorite song that he's ever made.
-Skyler Grey will never do anything for me, I wish Aftermath would stop trying to make her into a star because it's not gonna happen
-Berzerk just makes me want to listen to the Beastie Boys instead

I don't want to rain on your parade, if you like it then more power to you. I was just not a fan of it at all

After multiple playthroughs this album is definitely one of his best.

Headlights was my stand out song. It put a smile to my face that he finally forgave his mother and you could feel the sincerity on the track. Touching song.

Evil Twin

Rap God

Bezerk

I listen to those often, Berzerk is an excellent gym song, just gets me so pumped especially the chorus

This album should have been called The Eminem Show 2, Encore 2, or some sequel to Recovery.

Relapse is my favorite you can't beat an album with only Dr. Dre beats & Em' relapsing. Deja-vu murders any hard track on MMLP2
