Only accounts i used to suspension dodge when this account got suspended. Even made a go at getting banned on this one 8 years ago, but the porn links were broke and Spazz, in all his infinite mercy, did not ban me.
I got banned from a few reddit subs. r/the_donald because they ban everyone for any criticism of the president, real or percieved, r/politics for quoting the president (I'll let you guess the quote), and that's all I can really think of at the moment.

I have. First time it happened was here at gamespot actually. Not permaban but it happened way back when Gamespot used to have unions and before those emblem things. 2007 I guess? I was in this union of horror video game lovers, lots of good people. One day one of us got perma-banned which led me also did something that also caused me getting banned for a few day. Don't remember why though, probably bad language. Lost interest in gamespot then.

But either way, GS staff fixed the problem and haven't run into that glitch again.
As for the actual question here, nope. I never been banned from any place and their is a game site that doesn't banned people but you will get a 30 day suspension however.

The NBA Subreddit when they were circle jerking Step Curry stats 24/7 a few years ago. I made up a thread about Curry playing 1 v 1 with my Grandfather winning 97-0. Got banned for it which I found hilarious.

Yeah, a GS dev implemented a change to the spam protection that resulted in a ton of legit user accounts getting banned, including I think most of the mod team. It got fixed pretty quick.
As for banned accounts, anyone else out there secretly an alternate account of a banned user? Asking for a friend...

Some people choose to leave forums via suicide-by-mod. A number of our more popular users who ended up getting banned clearly chose this approach by just doing things that they clearly know they shouldn't. I chalk it up to poor impulse control, where if they feel like they have the option to come back they don't feel like they'll be able to stay away. Before we had an account deactivation option people would PM the mod team requesting deactivation and threatening to act up on the forums until we were forced to ban them.

Take a trip to Resetera or (old) Neogaf. Hell, the Neogaf owner practically admitted bullshitery.
NeoGAF was criticized for biased moderation and banning political dissidents. Tyler "Evilore" Malka made a post admitting biased moderation by at least one former member of the moderation staff. Malka stated that the ex-moderator banned hundreds of members without justification. Malka also made the declaration that discussion should be encouraged with different points of view, saying that people on the website have been "driven out, character assassinated, labeled traitor for not sounding angry enough, or for not being entirely on board with ostracizing someone else for the same reasons.
The moderators here are pretty much alright, nothing like Resetera, which is objectively terrible.
Despite the dumb shit I posted when I was younger and the slightly less dumb shit I sometimes post now, I've never actually been banned from any sort of Forum. I've had a few warnings on this website. Only one from the last few years and that wasn't even in the Forums.

On reddit for saying something about social media instigates gender identities and false reality bubbles when in reality it's about your DNA, not your feelings. Instant ban for life. Guess the truth hurt some mod's identity crisis too close to home. Sorry If you're a guy I'm' not going to accept your a girl, ask you out or anything else like that. People should accept reality and not unicorns.
These days it seems hard to get banned on any forum. It's like these days, inflammatory posts and trolling is acceptable. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but it's led to some political biases in many areas where such behavior is now acceptable.

Yeah, bluray.com. So I was trading blurays with some members and for some reason one of the modertors decided to full on ban my account without explination. Hate to be an ass, but I staid with like 20+ blurays I was currently trading. I mean, literally no explination. I wasn't a thief, that was their fault.
