Electric vehicle vanity plate ideas

A buddy of mine just got an all electric car and he was looking for some vanity plate ideas. Preferably something that acknowledges the fact that the car is all electric but isn't smug or braggy. His state limits him to 7 characters (including spaces, periods, or dashes).

Any ideas?

Actually I've seen a Mitsubishi electric car that had a plate saying "NOSMOG", so that's not too far off.

@Byshop I do like the "LOL GAS" suggestion, though I hope that state isn't too strict about vanity plates as some people may see it in a negative light, although I think it's perfect.

How is LOL GAS not smug or braggy?

Have him move to Ontario. He will get an actual green plate that gives the vehicle HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lane access regardless of # occupants on the major highways. That is actually useful.

I'd say it depends. If you can manage to make it clever or amusing I think it's fine. Like a Tesla that has "NIKOLA" or a Delorian that has "1.21GW"

I didn't think it's that bad, although not sure about having "LOL" on a plate. Something like "2FAST4U" or "MO MONEY" would be firmly in dbag territory, though.

But then he'd have to live in Ontario...

It kinda makes it sound like you're making fun of other people for using gas. That may not be the intent, but it very well may be perceived that way.

Yeah, I get that. It doesn't sound that bad to me but I see your point.

A variation that I thought was clever was "LOL WATT". However, I think he'll probably avoid any meme-based license plates because while they may feel relevant now, just like naming your kid after a character in your favorite TV show (let's take a moment and shed a single tear for all the kids named Jax or Khaleesi), it might become meaningless in a few years.
