right, so I recently bought a 100$ power supply for my PC anticipating a 300$ upgrade in the future. but, I figured out that I really need a car. I spent 100$ for nothing

If you needed a power supply then it wasn't a waste....it just could have been better spent on something else. If you didn't need a power supply, then yeah that was dumb :)
