Soon to be President Trump
Deal with it.
I tend to go by poll averages of multiple outlets as opposed to just the one. RCP has factored in the Rasmussen poll, and does show a dip in Hillary's approval numbers because of it, but still shows that on average she's ahead. That being said I will wait and see what polls have to say in the coming days before deciding if anything has really changed. Good to know though.

@GreySeal9: Rasmussen is also notorious for being heavily Republican-leaning. Using ONE poll instead of an aggregate is questionable but lol at that one poll being Rasmussen. IIRC in 2012 they were the only one at the end that had Mittens beating Obama.

I wonder why Rasmussen doesn't reweight his polls/change his methodology so they're more accurate. It seems bad for business if your polls have such an obvious Republican lean and therefore don't have a good track record.
Rasmussen always leans Republican and their polls aren't taken seriously by most news outlets. Mostly because Scott Rasmussen has ties to the Republican party and the methods they use for polling are basically shortcuts. SurveryUSA is the most consistent poll when comes to accuracy and non-bias.

Depends on where the income for his business comes from.

Yeah, exactly. And considering public polling in the US is essentially an unregulated industry, Rasmussen can do what he wants provided the pros outweigh the cons in his mind.
LMAO....he won't win the minority or the female vote in the General, so keep telling yourself he'll be the next President. I'm predicting Clinton by at least 6 points. Laughing even harder at you pointing out the one poll among nearly a dozen that has Trump ahead.
After Brexit, Donald Trump becoming the next Commander and Chief of the most powerful military in the world is a complete possibility... may God have mercy on us
Democracy gives morons an equal say; Idiots rule this world.
Yes, because everyone who doesn't agree with you is an idiot.
I don't think I've actually met many outspoken people on the left IRL who think otherwise. It's literally as if they're all competing to be the most pretentious person in the room.
A clown as president? Why not? He wouldn't be the first.
Over here even people who lean far to the right (excluding neo-nazis/fascists) prefer Bernie Sanders due to the fact that they know what they're getting, while Donald Trump is about as predictable as an infant.
America's fascination (obsession) with polls and politics is concerning.
And to think we still have months of this to go...haha

All according to plains!

No. But there are many idiots in this world, yes? People who are a few sandwiches short of a picnic. I would say even the majority of people are. And democracy gives them an equal say. If they unite, well... then idiots do rule...

On a basic level - I agree that the majority of people participating in democracy are likely not fully educated on both sides of every issue they vote for. Where as to where those people lay is anyone's guess - they aren't all going to be saying the same thing.
Pff , guy don't know shyt about foreign policy, I dunno how he want to handle middle east and those radical islamists ... though he still could be far better than clinton

Clinton may be a warmonger, but Trump's foreign policy could potentially be far more catastrophic. I wouldn't be surprised if he would consider launching nukes and triggering a World War. Trump is a mad man.
