The only reason I could think of that would piss off Christians is the notion that other intelligent life exists in the universe, which is never mentioned in the bible. Bible contradictions tend to piss them off.-Makaveli-How is it a contradiction if its never mentioned?
It neither accepts or denys the existence of extraterrestrials so either way, there's no contradiction.

Ok, thanks. That does't piss me off though because if there are aliens (which I believe) than God created them too. I love how athiests think that would be the end of Christianity.
I can't remember anything especially anti-crhistian but the books are fairly critical towards religion in general.
The only Christian thing I remember is the part where it say something like 2,000 years ago some guy recommend we all be nicer to each other, and he ended up nailed to a tree.
The main theme of the book is basically against what Christians believe, and that is the universe is a weird wacky place, and that trying to find/claim meaning in the whole lot of it would be absurd. While Chrisitans believe our purpose is to serve god.
[QUOTE="LoG-Sacrament"]i detect a religion thread coming on...lycrofGary Sinise>>>Raptor jesus>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> FSM
thats true. raptor jesus doesnt have his own band, so he lacks gary sinise's awesomeness. and fsm is so 2 weeks ago.
Not that I know of. I don't know if the Author was Christian, but one of my good Christian friends has read the entire series and loved it.
Why do you ask?

Actually, he was an atheist.

If the notion of other intelligent life pisses people off then I don't think we even count as intelligent life.
