Does love at first sight exist?

Do you believe in love at first sight or do you think that at first sight you only experience lust, infatuation, crush etc as you have not had the chance to fall in love with their characters yet? Have you ever met someone's eyes from across the room and then got together?

Of course that does not mean you won't fall in love after you know each other well

The concept of falling in love at first sight is absurd. You cannot be in love with someone just based on their looks.....

People need to stop thinking lust=love.

No, just lust. I don't even believe in "true love." I think it's pretty much just finding a physically appealing partner who is acceptable enough socially to keep around for a while.xXBuffJeffXx

Only lust, that's all I can say. Unless the both parties are pretty much helpless in a love life.

Lust is all that it is at first. Love grows with the time you spend with your soul-mate. There's no such thing as just falling in love with them without knowing their secrets, or knowing their pet peeves, or anything like that. It's just not feasible.

I don't belive in love at first sight. But I don't think it has to be lust at first sight either. I think its something in between.

But thats just what i think.:)
