I hate that show.... and I like many of Fox's other animated shows... That show just has no tastes and resorts to shoddy comedy.... kind of like the cleveland show only far worse.

Funny you say that, because I hate the Cleveland Show. American Dad is still fantastic in my book, and I sincerely hope that if Bob's Burger's is picked up permanently, that it's the Cleveland Show that gets the boot.

I hear you about the Cleveland Show. Everybody has their own tastes and whatever hits them may not for very long. I watched futurama back in 1999 for about three times and hated it... 3 years later I was a crazy fan and remain so today... but the simpsons is just worthless now, which is sad because I watched that since 92 or 93 without missing a beat. Who knows how I will feel about Bob in 2 or 3 years....

I actually think the recent Simpsons have been decent., relatively speaking at least. to this day, I don't understand why Fox had to give McFarlane a spinoff of Family Guy. A Simpsons, in its prime, spinoff would have been so much funnier.

American variety? It's all crude, violent humor. British put style in and have very unique comedies. Tonnes more variety.

I am a fan of British shows thanks to my aunt and grandpa being "british lovers?" But when you speak about "modern British variety" you have to remember that they made skins because British tv was being overrun with American shows and Britain just couldn't make anything good. With that said.... skins (the british version not the crap u.s. version) was a great show.

Yes, the British would never rely on recycled quiz-show formats to showcase the same comedians on multiple programs :/ See!? I can make sweeping generalizations too!

Haven't actually seen skins, should check it out. But britains making plenty of great shows. The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd, Black books being my favorite modern British comedies.

I've never seen it, does it air in Canada? I've never ever heard about it, apart from the internet.

I couldn't agree more on hoping that The Cleveland Show gets the boot though, it's just awful.

I like it. Been watching since the first episode.

I dont get why alot of people complain about the animation/art style of the show and say it's awful.

Its meant to look shoddy on purpose...like that one cartoon, Home Movies.

Its actually is quite good, the clevand show needs to get cancelled of all the charters from family guy you pick the worst. I haven't been able to say that about many fox shows later, to many of the good shows have hit the crapper, family guy is no were as good, the simpsons is average, and american dad just gets the boot as the uncle no one likes.

I like it. It might have a lot to do with the fact I'm a fan of H. Jon Benjamin. I think Archer might be the funniest show I've seen in years, but that's besides the point.

Totally contrary to my love for Archer, I think the reason I enjoy Bob's Burger is because it has heart. You get the sense this family genuinely loves each other and a lot of the humor is more playful banter than actual resentment towards each other.

I sat through a couple episodes before deciding it wasn't for me. I thought the jokes were incredible lame and unfunny. I especially found the show's "autism as a synonym for stupid" jokes in the first (or second?) episode to be incredibly offensive. I gave it a second chance the following week but after that I gave up on it. I just think the show is repulsive and not very funny.

I tried to watch, but I just can't get into it. Plus, the fact that some of the female characters are blatantly voiced by guys is very distracting.

I think it's pretty bad, I see this being its only season.

And is it me or does everyone on the show sound like they're voiced by the same person?

Overall it's been a little hit-or-miss (but that's to be expected with a new show), but when it's funny, it's really funny. This guy knows what I'm talking about:

Haven't watched it but the promos didn't impress me plus I already associate the voice actor of Bob with Archer is easily the best new animated show to come along in a long, long time.
