Does anybody else miss G4TV

Anybody else miss Attack of the Show, and X-play on G4TV ? And many other cool shows. Dang, i always looked forward to getting home from work and watching the show about all sorts of fun internet stuff, and videogames. I used to get lots of interesting details about all the new, and old games. Not to mention the coolest staff ever. Now they are all spread out.

The Original Ninja Warrior fro japan was my favorite on the show before G4 decided to create their own.

Everything except Morgan Webb.

No, it was complete garbage aimed at people who were not bright.

The best programming it had it stole from Tech TV and lowered the overall quality once it made the switch.

She's an idiot who doesn't know squat about video games. Sessler was the only reason to watch the show. Every one of her reviews were terrible and inaccurate.

No, they had reruns of old movies on most of the time...

I luved those old movies ! There was nothing like it, that was my fav - G4TV !! I should not have gotten that Tattoo. Now no one even knows what it is.

Yeah, I really enjoyed X-Play and the original Ninja Warrior.

I miss xplay with a passion. Sessler is still around though, but I have no clue what happened to Webb. Attack of the show was pretty good too

Well, they were trying to get G4 back on track until Comcast/NBC decided to go at another direction trying to convert it into Esquire TV. But that didn't worked out as planned so instead they converted the Style network and just left G4 to die off.

I so wish they would bring it back. As soon as i got home, this was the Channel i would default it too and just leave it on. There was always some game review, or cool movie on. Cross my fingers they bring it back.

I would have if it didn't focus on Cops and Cheaters. I follow Reviews on the Run though.

I miss TechTV.... ARENA!!!!!!!! those were good shows.

No since it just devolved into a MTV clone. I do remember from Attack of the Show when some drunk came on stage and argued with the hosts. That was pretty interesting.

I stopped watching them long before they went off air, I'd occasionally watch from time to time and so happened one day out of the blue I flipped to it when they were airing their final episode of Attack of the Show. What I mainly attribute to their decline, their programming schedule. For instance, I DVR everything because I can't watch everything all the time, but normally shows you DVR list if they're new episodes, re-runs, but X-Play and AoTS were both shows that wouldn't list with my cable provider if each show was a new one or a re-run, so often I'd never be able to record only new shows because the re-runs would constantly record over the new ones if it did record. Fucking pissed me off so much. I wrote on their forums extensively about it but they didn't do anything to remedy the situation. Eventually I just stopped DVRing the show. The only solution to this was just to record every episode and my DVR wasn't capable of making do with that solution. Oh well. I still watched AoTS but eventually without X-Play, and without shows like the classic Japanese shows like the Japanese Ninja Warrior or Unbeatable Banzuke. Cheaters was okay, I didn't much care for Cops and Campus PD re-reruns.

I miss ZDTV (Sumi Das in particular). G4TV was only a shell of its former self. If it died, it deserved to.

Loved Ninja Warrior, but that's about it. One day I was looking for the G4 channel because E3 had always been shown on it, then I found out it was gone, which was a little bit sad.

Me and the wife would watch AotS frequently, I was an admin for their minecraft public test server too (I guess this information isn't that relevant but w/e). I would also tend to have the channel on every time there was a big event like comiccon or E3 or w/e.

Watch GoodGame on youtube for the people that miss xplay.

I do kind of miss X-Play and Gametrailers TV but I could probably do without the rest of the shows to be honest........

@drunk_pi: You misunderstand, Drunk Link was a character who (as the name suggests) was a guy dressed as Link and was always drink. He accosted the hosts on occasion.

I remember when Tech TV was still ZDTV. I use to watch Call For Help the most I think. That and X-Play later on. I think the last time I watched G4 was about a decade ago.
