I actually had that happen to me yesterday. Firefox itself flagged GS, and then I got a pop up shortly afterwards. It was painfully obvious though, as the pop-up had a fake Windows screen up, and I was on a Mac.

Well he (I think it was him) posted another thread just like this, someting about pop up messages saying his private data was under attack so either he's a complete and utter idiot or he's trolling.

Nothing wrong with Gamespot. I guess it's an adware, tricking you into downloading their own program.

So you can get modded for calling people fools or even retarded even when they are not on this site and have done something that deserves the title! But seemingly calling someone stupid is ok? Oh and considering he is the TC posting on this site right now. I am getting really tired of this rubbish. Anyhow TC seeing as most of these guys are so helpful i will tell you now Install AVG, Spybot, Adware, and perhaps a Firewall like Comodo. Run them all and clean your computer regularly you have a Virus at the mo by the way.

I just had that problem, but I didn't download it. I reccomend downloading SuperAntiSpyware, then doing a scan with that, then go from there.
