Americans generally do not according to statistics. We were up 15lbs on average from 1990 to 2011. I wanna know the census of the Gspot OT on this topic.

I'm 5'9-5'10 133lbs, pretty ripped(not bragging!) waist up because I skip leg days. A bit surprised myself at the number after stepping on the scale. Just 6 months ago I was walking 142lbs. Guess that's what a crazy metabolism will do to you. My goal will be to cleanly bulk up to 155-165lbs by next year.

Do you have a certain weight range you shoot for or do you have the "It is what it is." mentality?

Nope. Between going to the gym and housework/family, I don't need to.

I'm in a similar situation as the OP. Crazy fast metabolism means I have no weight to watch. I actually want a bit more weight. I'm 5'9-5'10 at about 140 pounds.

5' 9" and 154lbs currently, sitting at around 13%bf so just kind of trying to gain some muscle while retaining the same bf level. Not eating any snacks/candy or pop sure helps.

I am trying to get back in shape. Just kicked off a new focus on weight loss this last week and a half. Finally eating better and being more active, granted I managed to mess my right leg up jogging Friday and that has slowed me down for the moment...

Yep. Since 2010, I have lost 40 pounds and gained some muscle. I'm usually at a steady 160lbs or a bit heavier.

Kind of. I used to be really active and I really love my food so I could eat a ton a day and not gain any weight. Then I stopped and didn't adjust my eating and gained 30kg (66lbs)...yeah, it was crazy....a little over a year ago I decided to adjust my eating and lost all of that weight but now that I actually started exercising I'm regaining muscle pretty quickly so the weight is going up again, but I guess it's good weight....it looks good in the mirror, which is more important than a semi random "perfect weight" on the scale.

I have to. I've struggled with weight and food problems since I was little. When I get stressed out, I tend to eat. It's a bad habit. My weight goes up and down a lot. I'm reading the posts on this thread, and I would kill to be 140 pounds at 5 10. For my body type, that would just never happen. For my job, I'm in the public eye a lot, and man, getting my photo taken is so stressful.

Me too.

My weight is always high, despite I'm very active, I play tennis and football at decent levels. Football I play twice a week in 5 a side leagues and tennis a few times in afternoons when off work and Match nights once per week for my tennis club.

I'm normally fitter, faster and strong than many other people I compete against who are skinny.

I'm 5 foot 11 and weight about 15 stone 10 lbs at the moment. In the last 2 years my weight has been as high as 17 stone and low as 13 stone.

I'm 5'4 and weigh around 142 pounds. I weigh more than some of you guys saying your 5'10...............

My problem is I went on a big diet and exercise kick and got down to 133 pounds, but I still had belly fat.

I don't understand how I could do any better, I was miserable doing my diet.

I would say I do. I run a couple times a week and weigh myself daily. I'm really short so any extra weight tends to make me look huge.

No and I laugh at people that do, especially guys. I'll eat whatever I want when I want to. It just means I'll spend longer working out. Whatever, no big deal.
