I had 3 stitches in my arm and I had a few more days to go until they were to be removed but it was completley sealed up. Do you think this was a bad idea?

no, the worst thing that could happen is the top layer of skin might reopen, but if you had them in long enough your skin should have healed enough to where nothing will happen at all.

It depends. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't reopen. I've had stitches and staples, but the second time, the one near my right eye kinda came undone and came out on it's own before it was time for a doctor to remove them. Didn't reopen, but just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't.

Possibility of infection, but should be fine. You should first watch one of the many videos on youtube on self-stitch removal

The worst thing that could happen is death, nothing serious though. Don't worry.

I doubt it could get worse than it was before you got stitches, unless while taking out the stitches you infected your wound with deadly poison and its flowing through your blood straight to your heart right this moment

This is such a coincidence.

I just had stitches for the first time and I got them removed yesterday. Four little ones in my right pinkie.

Yeah, let a professional do it, because if you **** up and have to get them reinserted, the doctor who has to do it is going to get pissed at you for not following the clearly stated directions (trust me on this).

I tend to let them in until the proffessional that knows what they're doing removed them.

Its no big deal. Its a good idea to sterilize your sicssors and tweezers with alcohol first. You can tell when they are ready to come out when they start getting loose. Last set I had was 9 inmy thumb. I took them out over a period of about five days as they got loose, not all at once.

You don't want skin to grow over them, but you should at least talk to a doctor over the phone or something before trying it. That can get extremely bad.

No but then again I don't think performing surgery on oneself is harmful either.
