The term is called Photic sneeze reflex or sun sneezing. Its a uncontrollable sneeze response when looking at or walking into bright light. The condition effects 18-35% of people.

I know I sneeze when walking into or looking at bright light. If I am in the shade and walk into sun light I would sneeze within ten seconds almost each time. Looking at is not really directly looking at the sun, but looking up toward the sun for longer then 15-20 seconds would cause me to sneeze.

Yeah, it's mother natures way of telling you to stop staring at the sun. It also happens if you live in a place like Florida where the sand reflects the sun's light similar to a mirror.

I sneeze really violently if I look at the sun or a bright light. A sneeze like no other.

It should affect everyone - it's almost physically impossible to completely stare at the sun.

This study says about 1/3 of the peeps do it, though it's just one study.

My eyes are a bit sensitive to bright light; if I look up in the sky on a clear day for more than a few seconds without sunglasses or some sort of shading, I get a headache. I guess I've never looked long enough for the sneezing to kick in.

I made a thread on this same subject about a month ago. Yes I have this and sneeze from bright light. If I feel the need to sneeze, I look at light to make sure I do.

Yes I do.

I also sneeze my brains out when I get extremely horny.

Sounds weird, but look it up. It happens more than you think.

Same.

though I only ever sneezed as a result of sun gazing or, more commonly, as a result of sudden exposure to the sun; not just any bright light.

Yeah, I often look up towards a light (not directly at) to force a sneeze stuck halfway.

I thought everyone had that.

tbh it's a great thing. Cause when you're at that point that you feel like sneezing but it just won't come you can just look into the sun or a light and problem solvedd
