It depends. If I need to get up early when at home, radio. When on the road for work, I mostly use my cell phone set to the intro of Time by Pink Floyd. All those alarms going off does the trick.

I think she is onto something. Remember, she is from a different generation, one that were raised with a sense of fairness (my parents are the same way and they are a bit older than her) and right and wrong, unlike most people today.
