Do you just sit by and watch other people fail?

So I have this friend who isn't doing to well with her school and she's just lazy, she complains that nothing ever works out, that she can't acomplish anything yet she sits infront of the computer the whole day without doing anything with her life.

Now I really want to get mad and just tell her the harsh truth but this will hurt her ofcourse... so OT the question is do YOU sit by and watch other people fail in life becuase you are too scared of telling them the truth or maybe just don't care?  

Also what do you think i should do in this situation?

Tell her.......If she doesn't do anything, it's her loss................................

I try to help when someone requests my help, but I can only do so much..........I can't do everything if the person isn't doing anything at all.............

I feel like I can't say a whole lot about your friend since I'm struggling to find a job right now. A lot of people say it's because I'm lazy, but it's really not at all. I've put in applications every where for the last two months.

I have a friend that is somewhat like yours, though. She sits around, complains, and wants to put no effort in to improve herself in anyway. I really wish I could help out, but I can't put the effort in for her.

i'm always honest with my best bud, and vice versa; if he decides that my advice is contrary to his mindset, then that's his prerogative.

if you're real friends, she won't get upset when you call her out. sometimes it takes a push to be introspective

It's not your job to make sure everyone does well.

It's really condecending to think that you can set someone elses life straight.
