its not hard to believe that it helps. not through sound though mind you, but vibration. that can have an effect.Â
and talking to animals is something people do just because, makes them feel better. its the same thing as talking to a baby, only the animal is never gonna learn how to talk
There's nothing wrong with being in tuned with nature. He's probably putting some definately positive emotions, positive energy towards his plants.
I dont personally do it, but I do respect it.
I think there was a mythbuster's episode on it... I think it said some music helps... I don't remember-InsrtNameHere-
I remember hearing about that. If I recall, they had three plants. The control plant was not exposed to music, while the other two were exposed to classical and heavy metal (or death metal not sure). Both plants exposed to music grew better than the plant not exposed, although there was no difference between the two who were exposed to music, so it doesn't make a difference what kind of music a plant "listens" to.

[QUOTE="RPG-er"]on myth busters, the results were that any noise helps them grow.soulfood4Amazing...but honestly i think hes just to cheap to buy Miracle Grow...
Â
lmao, miracle grow. My mom has various plants all over the house, and when she's waterting, trimming, moving them shes constantly talking to them as if they newborn babies. At first it funny/weird. But now, it's the norm around the house. I think it does help them because my mom has had a plant for almost 5 years (sometimes she even forgot to water it) and the damn thing is still growing,

One chamber played pop songs, the second one played heavy metal and the third played classical music. The plants that growed the best were those that were placed in the chamber that played....... heavy metal music!

JPL is first, but I do have to correct one thing: the plants that were exposed to heavy metal (not death metal for sure) grew the best.on myth busters, the results were that any noise helps them grow.RPG-er
I think that it was Death Metal..Â
