I sure don't, I type faster without it.

Usually.
It makes touch-typing way easier to start with, but after years and years of hot-key actions in strategy games, you kind of start to memorize where everything is on the keyboard without even having to feel for it or use the home keys :P
What the hell are you talking about?-eddy-On a standard QWERTY keyboard, the ASDF and JKL; are considered the "home keys." Using the formal method of typing, your index fingers are supposed to go on F and J respectively, with your other fingers following suit (middle fingers on D and K, etc).

Nah, I don't really use that.
At first I thought you meant Home/End/PgUp/PgDn..
You mean the home row? Nope. I taught myself to type gradually from the age of 7-8ish. I later took a typing class in middle school, but never adjusted to the "home row." I still type >100 WPM despite that.
My fingers don't really rest in any set spot.
