Do people even care about ringtones anymore?

so do people care about their ringtones anymore? i know when ringtones first came out everyone was talking about them. it seems like nobody talks about them anymore. i'm just asking because i kind of starting to notice a spammer on youtube that post a link to a site that has ringtones.

i sure don't care about my ring tone. i havn't changed my ringtone in a long time.

I don't get why cellphones have other ringtones besides "vibration". It's always in your pocket, you don't need to hear it. It's just annoying, hearing the latest #1 pop hit's first four seconds five times a day on the bus...

I care but I don't talk about them to my friends or anything. That said my text message noise is the Metal Gear Codec beep which is just awesome. :PSkylinePigeon

That was named the #1 coolest video game ringtone on IGN a while ago. They thought it was so cool they didn't even supply a download link, to keep it to themselves.

I don't think so. At least not nearly as much as before. I never hear any ringtones anymore.

I know I don't. I've been using the default Nokia ringtone for a long time now.

I don't care at all. My ringtone has been the same Puscifer tune for nearly a year.

What's to talk about? Most people now buy songs.....but I can't get the talking about part.

When I was on vacation with my family, everytime my cousin's boyfriend would call or text, "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz would always play. By the end of the trip, I started to hate that song.

Same. The only thing on my phone are lame ringtones and I don't give a crap what song plays for five seconds until I answer the call...
