I really enjoyed the film and felt it was really well made. Due to the nature of the film I never talk about it to anyone because I know the general reaction I'll get. But did you like it? Have you even watched it or did you choose not to?

Yes and as a bisexual myself, it is one of the greatest films I've seen. Amazing cinematrography and music.
I don't really like it. I think it would be better with cuter leads.
Elijah would have made a good gay cowboy.

I dont think cute boys would be found in the mountains for months at a time living off the land.
Also, I thought one of the main points of the film was to show that rough, tough, manly men can be gay thus breaking stereotypes.
The story it was based on was very short and they made it into a two hour film. It was a good film but it stretched on for a bit.
The main point of the film is to show Bisexual cowboys, rough and manly. Elijah is too gay looking. Though Jake was kinda gay looking too, but not as much.I don't really like it. I think it would be better with cuter leads.

It was much slower than I thought but I still really enjoyed it. I thought it was touching and I love it whenever LGBT representation and charcaters crack into the mainstream.

Back in those days gay men would repress their sexuality and have relations with the opposite sex so they would apear heterosexual (still happens now but not as much)[QUOTE="Laihendi"]

Jakes character however was desperate for some meat.[QUOTE="zenogandia"]

My favourite part of the film is how they portray aging. How do you add 20 year's onto a person? Just give him a mustache. It's funny how at the end of the film it's many years later and everyone looks the same but has a mustache.
That is true. Heath actually looked a bit old. Jake however continued to look young. My favourite part of the film is how they portray aging. How do you add 20 year's onto a person? Way too slow and not even nearly as much mannseks as one would expect with all the hype and controversy.
Never seen it, but not because I avoided it. I was too young when it originally came out, and I've never gotten around to seeing it. I wouldn't mind though.
