And what exactly is that supposed to be? There's no way something that big lives in our oceans, this isn't Cloverfield or Godzilla.[QUOTE="k_smoove"]

No idea if there is any actual evidence of this ever existing, could only find this artist's depiction. Still, very scary to think about.

There has been documented reports of unidentified sounds picked up by hydrophone arrays. Sounds which scientists claim could only have come from a sea creature, much, much larger then that of the Blue Whale.
Don't know if you heard of the Slow Down. Or the Bloop.
It's a nice drawing. I always like the idea of big leviathans.I've started to study a bit of marine biolagy just recently, since i'm slowly overcoming my phobia of sea creatures. Although I think it's that fear that makes me so fascinated with them.

Yeah, I read about those a little while back. They only instill even more wonderment in me. I am just fascinated by deep sea life and I pray that whatever made those sounds is discovered before I die. I need know and see what it is!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: This thread is one of the best ever created on GS. It's actually inspired me to write a small article on deep sea creatures for my students as part of my school newspaper. I hope they enjoy it!

that slow down sound is creeping me out..They look like airplanes, what are the called?I have no idea as they didn't have a name associated with them. Actually the reason for them looking like airplanes was the reason I posted that picture. I thought it looked odd.[QUOTE="BumFluff122"]
