First we had Tunisia.

Then we have Egypt.

Now we also have Yemen and Jordan.

What do you guys think? How is this going to turn out in the end? If there is a new government in these countries, will it be any better than the previous ones? Moreover, do you think foreign countries should intervene to help one side or the other here?? Pos t your answers below.

The protests in Yemen and Jordan have been going on for a while now. They just aren't as serious as the ones in Egypt or Tunisia.

I hope they get democracy going. I'm afraid because sometimes revolutions end up puting extremists in power.

It will end well for the Middle east but not for the American Goverment. The protests are currently happening in countries with pro-american goverments. If they become true democracies and represent the will of their people, its unlikely that they will end up pro-american or pro-israeli.

When I read Jordan... I was like:

"WHAAAAAAAA! How do you revolt against this queen:

" *pic related: Queen Rania*

Then I clicked the link and saw they want the PM to step down and was like "Nice!"

The people in Egypt are basically protesting because they want what we have fair elections and freedom of speech, etc. And that muslim brotherhood is against what the people want so I don't see Egypt becoming anti-america/israel. And the muslim bortherhood would only have like 20% control of the government max if they were to come into power.

This isn't ww3 it's just people getting fed up with their government. They want basically the freedoms like speech, etc and fair elections it's a domino effect.

ElBaradei said that. And from what I've been reading the people want freedom and fair elections and the muslim brotherhood is probably against that so I really don't see Egypt turning into a islamic state.

Egyptians have been living under the rule of a dictator for more than 30 years. All aspects of their lives have been controlled by a corrupt government. They have every right to overtrhow Mubarak and his gang.

Yeah, we support him because he is against terrorism and everything but we also think he should allow fair elections and more freedom to the citizins. I think at the end of the day whatever happens America will support Egypt unless some Islamic group takes over which i think is highly unlikely.

Yeah, the VP of Egypt is a big supporter of the U.S and Israel so if he became president and gave the citizins the freedoms they want that would be awesome. While Elbaradei is supposed to be inexpirenced from the articles I've read.

Where are you pulling that non-sense from? The Muslim Brotherhood is the one who put ElBaradei as the front man for negotiations. ElBaradei actually said the EXACT opposite of what you are claiming.

Trouble is you either have these corrupt oligarchies or you get a radicalized islamic govt. It's a lose-lose situation. It's a shame that they can't have a nice secular/democratic government. People can then practice religion freely but not have it government mandated.

Eh. Since when are the Muslim Brotherhood radicalized Islamists? Since when is this movement lead by them? That's, quite simply, a load of misinformation.

Exactly. Then again, I can't be surprised that people are so misinformed as to what is happening when our news stations totally failed ( and are failing ) at the coverage. It's absolutely pathetic.

What's going on in Egypt is far from simple people riots. Sure you have some people who actually riot because of economy, jobs...etc, but a lot of the **** going on there is because of opposition being butthurt and some other ****.
