My brotherswife has a restraining order against himThey have a myspace but my brother logs on and posts status's. The status's arent directly to his wife. Could he go to jail for that? Would that be breaking the restraining order?

Why would he? Unless he's making threatening comments.

I've never heard of any restraining order that kept you from acknowledging someone existed. If he posted directly to her wall or emailed her, then he might have a problem.

If your brother was charged with attempted murder, he'd be sitting in a prison cell right now...

Whoa. your brother has all rights to be pissed but tell him their are better ways. He could, hypothetically, ruin her social life and get her fired. Wouldn't be hard. Just send some photos to her friends and boss.

With all due respect, it sounds like your brother puts himself into some bad situations. Guilty or not.

Yeah and he cant go to his house. His mother inlaw is up there and nobody taking care of her because his wife took everything in the house except her mom. Lawer says if we try to help her momthat would make us liable for her death.

"back out of jail, bi*** cant hold me down fore long!"

At the very least he's guilty of being a grandstanding idiot, doing all the wrong things to gain the approval of his myspace friends. It's not out of the question that his foolhardy status update could be taken as a legally actionable threat given the circumstances he finds himself in.

Also how do you know for certain that his wife made this up?

My aunt went up to her and she saidshe never said anything like that. All the restraining orders on 6 of her husbands all said guns were involved. She said he had a 9mm to her head and he doesnt have that gun.

Assuming this is true, what the heck was your brother thinking to marry a chick who has ruined six lives? Either way he needs to act like she doesn't exist because if she's been divorced six times she is a professional and she knows how to turn the screw. Sounds like she's already got hisacorns in a vise.

ROFL!!! But no, he could be referring to anybody. I'd like to see them prove in court who he was talking about. It could be lyrics to a song for all they know.
