I found this video on a Liberal news organization about Asians wanting to look White. I was shocked, laugh, and thought they were incredibly dumb for thinking that Asians want to look white. They got their answer on why Asians do plastic surgery, but one of the host wasn't satisfy. I did not expect this from Liberal Media

Depending on the topics. Conservatives say dumb shit about somethings (like abortion, women/minority rights etc) and liberals say dumb shit about others (like gun rights, foreign policies etc).

I thought news channels were supposed to report on What, When and How and then present the Why when one had solid facts that actually showed why.

I once thought Conservative until Gamer-Gate. The nonsense BS that the Liberal media reported on, and the lengths they went to to lie about the 'misogyny' in the gaming industry amazed me. Conservatives always attack and lie about video games but now the Liberal media took that job upon them.

A lot of the Liberal media shills for Feminist nonsense too; they reported the 1 in 5 college statistic (bogus), the UVA story and the wage gap (debunked).

But the Conservative media is pretty awful, especially FOX. No media station is to be trusted. They ALL have their agenda.

The Conservative media and the Liberal media are just as bad as each other.

The conservative media is actually harmful to the people. The majority of misinformation and fear mongering is spread through right wing news.

Dumbest? That's a never ending contest when it comes to American news media.

But when it comes to logical fallacies, that goes to conservative media. Mostly because they're least likely to fact check stories, are generally anti-science, and prone to conspiracy theories.

I figured someone would respond with MSNBC but I don't really see it. They're nowhere near as influential to political discourse as FOX News is since liberals get their news from more varied sources and the fuckups from MSNBC is more of the garden variety fuckup that all other cable news programs suffer from like spotty fact checking. I've never seen them outright lie on camera like FOX but you're welcome to prove me wrong.

I have noticed over the last couple of days that CNN barely reported anything else besides the events in Baltimore. They took a break from Baltimore by showing Forensic Files. WTF? I can watch many similar shows on the Investigation Discovery Channel. What the hell is CNN doing?

Checking Fox...... They have reported on:

• The events in Baltimore
• The US citizens stuck in Yemen with the State Department unwilling to risk evacuating them.
• Iran
• The new Royal baby
• A recent chemical warfare attack by Syrian government forces.
• Back to Baltimore.....
• Pacquiao - Mayweather; Mayweather's domestic violence.....

Fox doesn't hide the fact that it is conservative. CNN, on the other hand, tries to look objective and even-handed. They're more subtle when it comes to showing their liberal bias. The closer we get to the elections, the more they will show their bias.

Finally, CNN reports on the royal baby and the Pacquiao - Mayweather fight. Let's see if CNN will report on Yemen. There are a lot of US citizens stuck there. The lack of coverage on them is pretty disturbing to me.

Both are bad, but conservatives take the whole nutjob thing to a different level.

Just listen to NPR. They actually expect their audience to use their brains.

I'm in the UK so this might alter my exposure but i'd say it's impossible to beat Fox. Simply incredible how obviously biased they, even the Daily Mail aren't quite so comical. The Reza Aslan interview, Birmingham's no go zones, caught having edited photos to make them look worse, O'Reilly's confusion over the moon causing tides etc.

I'd recommend the documentary Outfoxed even though it's biased itself.

It's all a game.

Take Gay Marriage for example. Does it really effect anyones day to day to lives if gays have rings on their fingers?

The media as a whole is dumb.

But Asians wanting to look white is not false. There is a growing trend in places like Korea and Thailand. I have friends who taught English in both those countries and they noted how much they were nearly worshipped for being white by the kids they taught.

The main stream media as a whole is rather corrupt and pointless. They are there to sell themselves and to make profit for their corporate overlords, more than give information to the masses.

That being said, Fox News takes conspiracy-mongering, Liberal hatred, and subtly (and not so subtly) racist and sexist material to a whole new level.
