Not buying it, Muslims are just plain nuts. What a twisted idealogy you people follow.

No different than any other religion. Judaism and Christianity have historically been quite violent.
It's hardly comparable. Judaism hasn't had a militant force, let alone perpetuated actual violence for over 2000 years, at the very least. Religiously speaking, the last of the Jewish "conquests" ended 2800 years ago, and a large number of secular people don't even consider the Tanach a valid historical narrative.
Before anyone mentions Israel, Israel is secular, and not religious extremism.
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/US/01/06/muslim.radicalization.study/
CNN conducted a study finding that roughly 17 Muslim Americans had become "radicalized" per year.
"Muslim-American organizations and the vast majority of individuals that we interviewed firmly reject the radical extremist ideology that justifies the use of violence to achieve political ends," David Schanzer, an associate professor in Duke's Sanford School of Public Policy and director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security, said in the statement.
As a Muslim I suppose I could include myself in that demographic, since I (along with my extensive Muslim community) also condemn the acts of these Muslim extremists as as barbaric and unjustified. If anything we hate these people more than non-Muslims do because of the way they've influenced the world to see us.

The only real gripe about Islam is forbidding inter-faith marriage.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?"
The problem is that Christians were the same way radical and lusting blood but that was 500 years ago... now they're passive and are not really that strongly religious but it seems that muslims just woke up... they're just living their "Dark Ages". Sadly evolution ain't working the same way for everybody... guess in 500 years they'll realize what scam religions are and will calm down and become passive muslims in the mean time there won't be any Christians left as the majority will realize that religions are fake and will all become atheists...
I can only hope that day comes soon

Indeed, but Christians tend not be so high-strung on that rule.

Yeah white people are scary sh*t, according to the FBI serial killer's are similar to the US population when categorized by race
http://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/publications/serial-murder
so that means roughly 72% of serial killers are white

Anyway I find it refreshing that an American news network can be smart for once about Islam
This thread has restored my faith in humanity. We can coexist. From the bottom of my heart thank you people of OT ( I get a little emotonal when I drink so pardon me).

Ok but just make sure you don't go putting a coexist sticker on your car. Apparently it encourages fleeing muslim terrorists to carjack you.

Bush is a Christian, and I have heard that he had said that, though I personally did not see or hear him say that. However, Bush viewed the Iraq war as a pre-emptive or preventive war (i.e. a war to strike someone before they strike you), not a war of aggression. While 17 a year is a pretty small number compared to the entire Muslim American population, it is still quite a bit of people and something that we should be worried about.http://edition.cnn.com/2010/US/01/06/muslim.radicalization.study/

If he really did say that I'm pretty sure a Youtube video of it exists. But then again, it is very possible it is as true as when people said Al Gore claimed he invented the internet. It is exagerated. An attack like what occured in Boston could occur every month, and I would still be more scared of dying in an auto wreck than a "terrorist" attack.
With that said, it is a tragedy, and would continue to be, and is horrible for everyone's mental well being.

My thoughts exactly.. People need to fvcking wake up and realize that though these events are awful.. The chances of you getting killed by a terrorist or in a school shooting.. Rival that of you getting struck by lightning.. And you will never be able to prevent all of them from happening.. Which is hilarious when we have this kind of fearmongering yet the media and politicians in general haven't made much of a peep on gang related violence.. Things that dwarf school shootings and terrorist attacks yearly by staggering amounts.
