I just buy chocolate milk. It's more convenient to buy that than buy milk plus a substance to make chocolate milk.

syrup definitely. powder takes more stirring and is less flavorful. have you ever ate a spoonful of that powder? disgusting. the syrup stays truer to the source.

Syrup, because you can use how much you want to, you can go lightly on chocolate, or overkill it.

Though I sometimes drink the premade one, I prefer just to make my own.

But if you buy milk and the substance to make chocolate milk, you can choose to use the carton of milk for other things like... making mac and cheese, or fluffy eggs, or PANCAKES! Can't do that with premade chocolate milk because you have to buy chocolate AND regular milk, which costs more.

Well I do buy both, and I prefer the chocolate milk you can buy. The syrup and powder just don't taste as good as the pre-made stuff...at least for me.

Seriously people, how are we supposed to maintain some semblance of a productive community if we have to address issues like this?

Anyway the right choice is Powder.

Syrup, I like the little streaks that it leaves on the sides of the glass. Besides syrup just mix better, I'd rather have some yummy syrup on the bottom of my glass than chunks of powder.

I prefer the can of Hershey's chocolate syrup, that way you can use it on icecream too if you wanted, it just makes it easier because adding the powder to icecream doesn't sound to good to me.

who says you need regular milk for pancakes? chocolate pancakes sounds like it could be awesome.
