Although I agree with the majority of choices, just because a song is from the 80s, it does not automatically make it cheesy.

A couple of other choices: Footloose by Kenny Loggins, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham, I Should Be So Lucky by Kylie Minogue, Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, Especially For You by Kylie Minogue and Jason Donavon, and Walking On Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves
Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins. Also Playing With the Boys by him is cheesy as hell. But then again, everything in Top Gun's soundtrack is. Gotta love it.
Danger Zone has already been mentioned, darn it. That was going to be my pick. I'm not sure if they were 70's or 80's songs, but "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult and "Safety Dance" (artist?) were terribly cheesy.
